The Institute
L'Istituto è il primo ente, nel panorama mondiale, fondato per promuovere ed applicare l'esperienza trentennale delle discipline realizzate per studiare e trattare l'Identità, unitamente ai suoi processi di sviluppo.
Gli approcci e le modalità adottati nelle fasi di ricerca, sviluppo ed implementazione, sono totalmente innovativi e, rigorosamente, di tipo scientifico.
L'Istituto, italiano come le scienze trattate, è strutturato nella forma giuridica della Fondazione di Ricerca ONLUS.
Il proprio Statuto prevede specificamente, oltre alle attività di Ricerca scientifica ed Applicazione, anche quelle di Istruzione, Formazione e Sostegno Sociale.
The Institute is the first body, in the world panorama, founded to promote and apply the thirty-year experience of the disciplines created to study and treat Identity, together with its development processes.
The approaches and methods adopted in the research, development and implementation phases are totally innovative and, strictly, of a scientific nature.
The Institute, Italian like the sciences covered, is structured in the legal form of the ONLUS Research Foundation.
Its Statute specifically provides, in addition to the activities of Scientific Research and Application, also those of Education, Training and Social Support.
Le scienze dell'Identità
The Sciences of Identity
Le scienze specifiche dell'Identità sono state fondate nell'anno 1985 e diffuse a partire da quello 2000.
Sono l'IDEMOLOGIA, che studia il fenomeno Identità nel suo complesso e l'EIDOLOGIA, che studia specificamente il processo di formazione dell'Identità nell'individuo.
La loro declinazione applicativa è l'IDEMOANALISI o IDEMANALISI e l'EIDOANALISI o EIDANALISI.
Concezioni e metodologie da esse adottate sono radicalmente nuove rispetto a quelle concepite finora riguardo al tema.
Tali studi si prefiggono l'obiettivo di apportare progresso della conoscenza in ambito Neuroscientifico; del Funzionamento della Mente e dello Sviluppo dell'essere umano, ponendosi a fianco di ruolo con tutte le discipline d'ambito già esistenti, a livello Sociale, Sanitario e Legale.
The specific sciences of identity were founded in the year 1985 and spread starting from the year 2000.
They are IDEMOLOGY, which studies the Identity phenomenon as a whole and EIDOLOGY, which specifically studies the process of formation of Identity in the individual.
Their application declination is IDEMOANALYSIS or IDEMANALYSIS and EIDOANALYSIS or EIDANALYSIS.
Conceptions and methodologies adopted by them are radically new with respect to those conceived so far regarding the topic.
These studies have the objective of making knowledge progress in the Neuroscientific field; of the Functioning of the Mind and the Development of the human being, placing himself side by side with all the existing disciplines in the field, at the Social, Health and Legal level.

The specific concept of "Identity"
Prima dell'avvento delle discipline specifiche dell'Identità, il concetto evocato da tale termine, nonché le relative definizioni rintracciabili in letteratura, anche di settore, erano significativamente generiche.
In effetti, il termine Identità poteva, addirittura, essere usato quale sinonimo di "Personalità", "Carattere", "Aspetto" oppure "Tratto" dell'individuo.
Idemologia ed Eidologia, pertanto, si sono impiegate, nel loro ambito, per definire, univocamente e sistematicamente, tale concetto in chiave scientifica.
Ciò ha permesso la nascita e lo sviluppo di un'attività di Ricerca orientata, assieme ad una nuova specificità d'ambito.
Nell'ultimo ventennio d'applicazione delle discipline, uno dei significativi risultati ottenuti, è quello conseguito nel trattamento dei disagi mentali gravi, che non si erano dimostrati sensibili ad altre azioni risolutive.
Before the advent of the specific disciplines of Identity, the concept evoked by this term, as well as the related definitions traceable in the literature, even in the sector, were significantly generic.
In fact, the term Identity could even be used as a synonym for "Personality", "Character", "Appearance" or "Trait" of the individual.
Idemology and Eidology, therefore, have been employed, within their ambit, to define, univocally and systematically, this concept in a scientific key.
This has allowed the birth and development of a research-oriented activity, together with a new specificity of the area.
In the last twenty years of application of the disciplines, one of the significant results obtained is that achieved in the treatment of severe mental disorders, which had not proved sensitive to other decisive actions.
